Location:  Ismaili Centre Toronto Social Hall

 “Through Time” is an exclusive performance piece developed for the Ismaili Centre Toronto.  The Blue Dot Ensemble will take the audience on a musical expedition from the 13th - 17th centuries showcasing the rich multi-cultural interconnected traditions of the Near East to the West.  The evening performance will explore centuries of music, dance, poetry and imagery from Ottoman court dances to early music inspired by the poetry of Rumi and Hafez.

About the Artists

 The Blue Dot explores world music and dance with a focus on cultures from the Middle East, Mediterranean and Central Asia. The band’s vision of fusing elements of different traditions brings a unique blend of multi-cultural influences, celebrating the interconnected nature of our world through artistic expression.  Artists include:
