Every day, around the globe, we are bombarded with news stories - everything from the latest scientific medical breakthroughs, to statistics on climate change, to images of violence and sound bytes from politicians and pundits. At times, these messages can be contradictory. A media outlet might report on statistics and the causes of childhood obesity while also reviewing the latest children's video game to hit the market. The Ismaili Centre International Lecture is co-presented with the Ryerson University Faculty of Communication and Design. The National Media Partner is Global News.
