Rare Performing Arts Traditions from Pakistan
Wednesday July 5th - Ismaili Centre Toronto Social Hall

From the highlands of the Karrakorams to the emerald blue waters of the Makran coast, Pakistan is home to a diverse array of artistic heritage. Unfortunately most of it is relatively unknown and unacknowledged. Join Umair as he takes you on a musical journey across Pakistan though this multimedia presentation. He will share the story of how he accidentally stumbled upon the hidden and vanishing musical treasures of Pakistan, and will talk about some of the issues threatening their survival.
